Rocky Point, also known as Puerto Peņasco, Sonora, Mexico, is located at the northern tip of the Sea of Cortez, about 60 miles south of the border from Lukeville, Arizona. GPM has a “camping” trip at an RV park on the beach each April or May. This year we will be going to Rocky Point the weekend of April 19-21st.
We will be staying at the Playa Elegante RV Park again this year. For $17 a
night you get an RV space with complete hook-ups, showers, and the best restrooms
in Rocky Point.
SPACES ARE LIMITED. Please send your payment for your space no later than
March 15th. There is a two- night minimum ($34), but if you want to come earlier
or stay later, I can arrange that for you. Rates did go up recently, so they
probably won’t increase any further.
All additional charges are paid down there. Do not send me money for additional
people or pets, only additional days. One rule that will be strictly enforced:
ONLY ONE VEHICLE AND SIX PERSONS ARE ALLOWED PER SPACE. If you reserve a space
and, for some reason, are then unable to make the trip, your money will be refunded
in full as long as I have someone to take your space. Won’t you join us
