RG Kudos

By John Seeliger, RG Co-Chair

A Lifetime of Gratitude and Recognition to:

Pat Edwards and Jerry Corbin, who pulled together one of the hottest slates of speakers seen in recent times at any RG within striking distance. Almost every one a high-rated hit.

Jason Grimm, Catering Chair, who personally selected and prepared all the delicious foods and breads you enjoyed at the RG.

Jason Grimm, Hospitality Chair, who piled on the snacks and good nosh for everyone. (To the individual who reasonably suggested we serve more fresh fruits - it's been tried. The stuff gets thrown out uneaten.) Big thanks also to Jason's gracious and beautiful fiancee, Elizabeth.

Neil and Judi Krentzin, MERF Auction, who despite colossal personal obstacles (Neil had a finger and portion of his hand removed only weeks before the RG) whined not one whine, and kept right on planning this auction that raised a whopping eight hundred dollars for MERF - 30% more than last year! Now those are volunteers! …

Yvonne Clark, RG Treasurer, who kept us parsimonious and probaably (figures are not yet totaled) made us a healthy profit …

Stevie Crowley, RG Co-chair, who cobbled the whole program together, and supervised it from the floor as it unfolded, solving glitches and smoothing ruffled feathers …

Stevie Crowley, Publicity Chair, who created the graphics for Phuture Schlock, and whose ads and mailings brought in one hundred forty six registrations - 30% more than last year!

Stevie Crowley, Registration Chair, who sent letters of acknowledgment to all registrants, and prepared the information packets for all of them …

Gary Maycroft and Gail Skvarenina for their usual outstanding work on the ID badges …

Diana McClure, who sought and gained many wonderful contributions for the MERF Auction from her fellow merchants at Christown Mall …

Bill Rouse and "Other Bill" Taylor for their 24-hour oversight of the movie room … And to the last-minute helping hands without whom, etc. …

Carolyn Robinson, who saved the day by attending to last-minute detail, then stepped into the Registrar's job with excellence and aplomb …

Meg Kelleher, Shepherd, who cheerfully escorted and set up all our speakers and presenters in their respective auditoria …

Marty McGrath and Mel Anderson, who kept the hospitality suite going, made order out of genuine chaos, and performed countless beer and ice runs … Lin Sinclair, who popped up wherever she was most needed and offered a helpful hand, especially at the Sunday night buffet …

Leigh Butler, who arranged the Monday Sojourns …

Ken Brown, because what the hell. And finally, to

Tom Streeter and Kristine Calitri of San Diego because they were here, because he loves the publicity, and because of Biondo. Now go thou and do likewise.
