Community Activities

As a newcomer to Phoenix (from San Diego), and to the Community Activities Chair, I'd like to know what areas of interest or activity you already have here. I understand this group has been involved with Public Television Fund Drives, school programs for gifted students, and tutoring in jails. If there are any other areas of concern to you as individuals that might benefit from Mensa attention, please let me know. Telephone (602) 298-4428. My personal bias at the moment is the Literacy Volunteers of Maricopa County, where I am currently tutoring. There are a number of ways for involvement in that program and I hope to supply information as time goes on about this and other organizations here in the Valley. Please let me hear from you.
