Candidate: Member at Large |
I am a candidate for Member at Large. During the past year, I have served
as Recording Secretary, but since I have agreed to be the registrar for the
2001 RG and the 2002 AG, I would like a position where I am still involved
with local Mensa activities, but with less responsibility than this year.
I am an attorney working at the Maricopa County Attorney's Office in the
drug prosecution unit. Before that, I was a public defender for several
years. I became a member of Mensa in the early 1980's, but have only held
office for the past two years here in Phoenix.
My goals on the Board are for a smooth running local operation which will
provide as many activities as possible for a very diverse group of people
while expending the least amount of our precious funds as possible. I
enjoy working with the other active Mensans on the Board and believe I can
provide some continuity and input to the group. I would appreciate your vote.
