Our September RG meeting was very exciting. Our Program Chair, Pat Edwards,
has been busy lining up speakers and activities for us. She has a great Mensa
band for a Saturday night dance, and a good start on filling three rooms with
speakers. We will have lots of choices. Paul Nowak, our silver tongued
Hotel Liaison has gotten a signed contract for hotel rooms for the same price
as last year. He also requested more conference rooms than last year to accommodate
all the activities we are planning. You will not be disappointed! Plan to attend
and plan to stay at the hotel for the best enjoyment. Make your reservations by
the end of November to get in on the drawing we will have for free accommodations!
Most of our positions have been filled, but we have lots of needs that attendees
can do, which will surely heighten their enjoyment of the festive weekend. For
instance, we want to have at least two get-acquainted events on Friday in the
form of a game and a contest, and two people to run them. You will earn Mensabucks
for those pleasurable tasks, and then you get to spend your Mensabucks on gifts
