Both our April hosts have written their own articles, and I thank them both. I am now in the process of calling everyone I can think of, in order to line up parties for all the slots in the calendar for the next year or so, because I have, in a burst of enthusiasm during the ExCom meeting, volunteered to be the Chairman for the 1999 RG. Since my position as Salon Chairman is such a labor of love, I hate to give it up if there is hope of keeping the status quo by planning ahead. If as you read this you can think of a time within the next year when you would like to host a Salon or Soiree, please pick up the phone and call me. Even if you have to reschedule it as the time gets closer, it will still give us something to work with, which is a lot better than a blank page.
