Partying

By Leigh Butler

The month of October sees us being invited to the homes of three of our most avid party givers. Arleen and Hardy will host our Soiree on the 4th (check out their article), the Gores will host another Gore National Monument on the 18th, and Bill Rouse will show us how to celebrate Halloween as no one else can. He has written an article for us. The 31st is on FRIDAY, so if you enjoy seeing the little goblins at the door, you will have to enjoy them in Bill's neighborhood.

There will be no Soiree on the first of November, unless someone calls me to volunteer before the next MAAM deadline. We have two other parties planned for November: Rita and Robert on the 15th, Pete Costantino and myself as hosts on the 29th (Thanksgiving weekend.). We have no plans for Thanksgiving Day, so far as I know, but if you have a large home and would like to host our annual Thanksgiving Day Participatory Buffet Dinner, bless you , we accept! Editor’s Note: See our LocSec’s column for an update. The Dinner is being held at Days Inn, but we do need people to cook turkeys.
