I would like to suggest to our membership that they might be interested in attending a couple meetings of the Phoenix Skeptics. Information on the meetings can be found in the Calendar.
GPM is grossly over-represented in the Skeptics, and other M's may share the same interests. I never know what the topics will be when I go to Skeptics meetings, but they are usually pretty interesting. I would encourage other M's to go to a couple meetings to get the flavor and to see whether they might like to keep coming. There are no dues of which I am aware. I offered to pay dues once, and was told they'll let me know. You can order lunch if you wish, but you do not have to, and some people don't.
If you are the kind of person who asks "Why are all the space aliens thin? Why doesn't anyone ever report seeing a fat alien?" you may find kindred souls in the Phoenix Skeptics. Thank you.
