This party will begin early to accommodate the planned volleyball game, to be held at Hardy and Arleen's home at 15814 North 44th Street. It's time to get some exercise and have some fun at the same time. Who said we don't know how to have fun! Let's dispel all of those rumors and let our hair down. Come to Northern Phoenix for this Soiree. If you have never been to a Mensa party, it's time you DID.
There are many out there we haven't seen in quite a while, so we would love for you to come and share in the fun. We also need an audience to cheer us on!
The volleyball get-together will start around 5 PM, since the sand court is not lighted. If we get hot, there is a pool to cool ourselves. Bring something to throw on the grill, if you would like, and a side dish to share. We can play and eat before the rest of the guests arrive around the usual time of 7:30PM. There can be water volleyball as well, for those who may be interested in that sport. We urge new members to come to this very informal gathering and to invite a friend or two to join you. (It can be intimidating if you have not met many of us before.) For those of you who share Ham Radio, you will feel at home, for N7RT lives here.
Remember to bring $2 for the OWL and a dish to share, a towel for the pool/hot tub. SO, WA, FE, there are no animals on premises. To find us: get to 44th Street and Greenway, go North on 44th Street to Kathleen on your right(about 1/4 mile north), pass Kathleen and to your WEST you will see two ham radio towers, a house set off the road, and a Mensa sign near the mailbox. Pull all the way into the rear yard where the cyclone fence is open. There is about one and a half acres of land to park your vehicle, so we request DO NOT PARK on the road or in our front yard.
